Dental Care with a SmileTM
Patients seeking treatment at the Kornberg School of Dentistry can be seen at one of the school’s clinics. High-quality, personalized treatment—including routine checkups, general dentistry, specialty care and emergency care—is provided at an affordable cost. Our dental care teams work closely with patients throughout their time in the clinics.
General Dentistry Services
Most patients are seen in general dentistry clinics, where treatment is provided by Kornberg dental students who are closely supervised by licensed faculty. While visits tend to be longer, treatment fees are often much lower than at private offices. You can expect to receive dental care that meets or exceeds the profession’s accepted standards of care.
General dentistry clinics offer routine dental care, as well as the following services.
- Adult dental care
- Pediatric dental care
- Prevention, tooth whitening, orthodontics, restorations, crowns, implants, dentures and root canals
Specialty Services
If you are a patient of record (existing patient) at the Kornberg School of Dentistry, you can be seen by a dentist in the specialty clinics. In these clinics, residents provide specialty care under the supervision of skilled specialists in each discipline. Surgical specialties may include advanced dental implants, reconstructive facial surgery or orthodontics. While the fees in these clinics are higher than those in the general dentistry clinics, they are still below those typically charged in similar practices in a nonteaching environment.
The specialty clinics offer
- orthodontics,
- root canal therapy (endodontics),
- gum disease treatment (periodontics) and
- dental implants (oral implantology).
