During normal clinic hours, the Kornberg School of Dentistry offers emergency services for adults. Dental emergencies may include conditions in which bleeding, pain, swelling or trauma exists.
For patients under the age of 16, emergency dental care is available in the Children’s Dental Clinic.
For adults (16 years of age or older) who are patients of record (existing patients) and assigned to a student-dentist, your first step in an emergency should be to contact the doctor or the Comprehensive Care Cluster to which you were assigned.
Adults who are not already patients of record (new patients) or who have not been assigned a student-dentist should report to the School of Dentistry’s Emergency Services Clinic, located on the first floor of the School of Dentistry.
