During normal clinic hours, the Kornberg School of Dentistry offers emergency services for adults. Dental emergencies may include conditions in which bleeding, pain, swelling or trauma exists.
For patients under the age of 16, emergency dental care is available in the Children’s Dental Clinic.
Existing Patients
For adults (16 years of age or older) who are patients of record (existing patients) and assigned to a student-dentist, your first step in an emergency should be to contact the doctor or the Comprehensive Care Cluster to which you were assigned.
New Patients
Adults who are not already patients of record (new patients) or who have not been assigned a student-dentist, please call 215-707-2900 to schedule an appointment, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Walk-ins are also welcome, but please note, there may be a wait depending on the activity of the clinic at the time.
Emergency Clinic Hours
Emergency dental consultation and coverage is available 24/7 for patients who are receiving dental care at the school.
Emergency services for those who are not under treatment at the dental school are available as noted above.
