Libraries
On Temple’s Main Campus is Charles Library, featuring approximately 1.5 million books available via an automated storage system known as BookBot, and roughly 180,000 high-demand volumes available in stacks for traditional browsing.
Along with the recent opening of Charles Library, Temple simultaneously launched a new library website, University Libraries, designed with the user in mind. University Libraries was created on an open source and flexible platform and serves as a point of access for all our library locations.
Located at the Health Sciences Center is the Ginsburg Health Sciences Library, which has seating for over 1,000 students, 33 group study rooms, a presentation practice studio, and a vast collection of electronic and print materials.

Student-Faculty Center
The Health Sciences Center is also home to the Student-Faculty Center, a comprehensive conference, fitness and leisure center. Among the many facilities offered by the center are
- conference rooms;
- study rooms;
- a large cafeteria;
- racquetball courts;
- locker rooms with saunas;
- fitness rooms; and
- a multipurpose court used for basketball, volleyball and tennis.
The Student-Faculty Center also sponsors a variety of programs and hosts multiple conferences, as well as some intramural sports.

Technology Center
The Tech Center is located in the Student-Faculty Center at the Health Sciences Center. It provides technology resources and support for students, faculty and staff.
Students have access to the following resources and services.
- 76 computer workstations
- Collaborative learning spaces
- Scanning equipment
- Software applications for all academic disciplines
- Various printing services
- Wireless access throughout
