Each year, a group of dental school students and faculty travel to underserved communities in the Dominican Republic, in cities such as La Pasquales and Sanchez, where they provide free dental care.

Partnered with the Grand’Anse Health & Development Association, the Temple Haiti Club has been dedicated to improving the health condition of the Haitian people since 1997. For seven days each spring, a group of 10 dental students and four faculty members from the school provide free dental care in remote villages outside the town of Jeremie.

Since 2017, The Bridge to Peace is a program, coordinated in conjunction with the nonprofit organization Shalva, aiming to help children with disabilities in Israel. Each year, eight to 12 Temple students and two faculty members travel to Jerusalem to provide care for children with disabilities, many of whom cannot find treatment on their own.

The Dental Mission to Jamaica program—coordinated through the Xi Psi Phi dental fraternity—is possible due to an affiliation with the dental healthcare organizations, Great Shape! Inc. and 1000 Smiles. The program provides free dental care to Jamaicans for one week.
