Dr. Stephen Brown is Clinical Professor of Periodontics at Penn Dental Medicine. A graduate of Temple University School of Dentistry, he received specialty training in Periodontics and Orthodontics from Penn Dental Medicine. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, Fellow of the American and International Colleges of Dentists, Diplomate of the International College of Oral Implantologists, a Fellow of the Academy of Osseointegration, and a Fellow of The College of Physicians of Philadelphia. His other appointments include Clinical Professor of Periodontology and Oral Implantology at Temple University School of Dentistry and Director of the Dental Implant Center at Albert Einstein Medical Center. He is also former Director of Periodontics at Graduate Hospital and Medical College of Pennsylvania. Dr. Brown is past president of the Philadelphia and Pennsylvania Societies of Periodontology, and the Delaware Valley Academy of Osseointegration and served on the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Periodontology. Widely published in professional journals and texts, he is a frequent guest speaker at dental schools and dental societies in the U.S. and abroad. Dr. Brown maintains a private practice specializing in Periodontics and Dental Implants. He founded and is Director of The Cosmetic Consortium, a study club for general dentists and specialists in the Philadelphia and tri-state area.
