Amid I. Ismail is the Laura H. Carnell professor and dean of the Kornberg School of Dentistry. He has a master’s degree and doctorate in public health degree, and a master of business administration degree from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. Ismail is also a diplomate of the American Board of Dental Public Health. He has extensive public health, academic, research and community organization experience.
