Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry has opened a new clinic at KleinLife, a Jewish Community Center in Northeast Philadelphia, in order to provide affordable, accessible, high quality care to members of KleinLife and the surrounding community.
The Clinic at KleinLife is staffed by faculty members from the School of Dentistry. Beyond an excellent standard of care, the dentists and hygienists offer compassionate, culturally- and linguistically-competent care.
Hours of operation of Temple KleinLife Faculty Dental Center areWednesdays and Thursdays form 8am to 5 pm.
Services provided include cleanings and preventative care, full examinations and x-rays, restorative dentistry like crowns, implants and dentures, as well as education and outreach.
The Kornberg School of Dentsitry has launched this partnership in order to meet the needs of an underserved, elderly population. While the clinic is open and accessible to all, the target demographic is senior citizens who utlize KleinLife’s social, educational, cultural and wellness services. The clinic acccepts most insurance programs, and patients are also eligible to participate in the Temple Dental Clinic Dental Pass program.
In addition to its other community-specifc offerings, Temple Dental Clinic at KleinLife is a designated provider for Holocaust survivors. Holocaust survivors who do not have private insurance or other coverage will receive free dental care.
