The National Health Service Corps and the Armed Forces Health Professions Scholarships are service-based programs that cover the cost of dental education and provide a living allowance in exchange for a specific number of years of service after graduation.

The Abramson Family Foundation Scholarship annually awards two pre-doctoral program students. Candidate selection is based on demonstrated financial need and undergraduate academic achievement.
The American Dental Association (ADA) Foundation offers scholarships to full time dental students who are in the second year of study at the time of application, demonstrate financial need and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 based on a 4.0 scale.
The American Dental Education Association (ADEA)-Crest Oral B Scholarship assists enrolled students who are members of the ADEA and demonstrate an interest in advanced education.
The American Student Dental Association (ASDA) Award of Excellence honors students engaged in service to other students, their school or community.
The Cary Klimen, DDS Excel in Ethics Scholarship provides annual awards to dental students in the top 66 percent of their class who exhibit personal values and actions that demonstrate integrity.
The Dental Class of 1932 Award gives scholarships to senior dental students with high academic averages and/or demonstrated excellence in dental clinical practice.
The Dental School Scholarship Fund provides funding for students based on financial need and/or academic achievement.
The Dental Trade Alliance Foundation Scholarship is offered to enrolled students with financial need, are in good academic standing, and demonstrate a strong interest in charitable work and community service.
The Donald Defonce Memorial Scholarship awards enrolled students with financial need, with preference given to students who are former or current residents of South New Jersey.
The Frank Verdi Scholarship Fund assists dental students with financial need who demonstrate academic excellence, and preferably, are residents of southern New Jersey.
The George C. Sands Scholarship Fund assists dental students with financial need with preference given to students from Bucks or Montgomery County, PA.
The George P. Savitz Scholarship Fund assists dental students with financial need.
The Harry Willits Student Assistance Fund grants scholarships to dental students based on academic achievement.
The Henry A. Spies Scholarship Fund assists dental students with financial need.
The Henry Grant Scholarship awards a junior dental student with financial need who is in good academic standing and a member of the Student National Dental Association.
The Hispanic Dental Association Scholarship assists student members of the Hispanic Dental Association. Candidates must demonstrate commitment and dedication to improving oral health and must be able to attend the award reception in New York City.
The Horace Wells Club Trust offers scholarships for dental students from Connecticut with financial need, in good academic standing and committed to providing care to the underserved.
The Howard G. Lapsley Scholarship Fund are awarded to students who attend any osteopathic or dental school that is accredited by the Association of American Medical Colleges, the Osteopathic Association or the Council on Dental Education of the ADA. Recipients are chosen based on their community outreach endeavors, leadership skills and academic achievement.
The John Esposito, DDS Scholarship assists incoming dental students from Pennsylvania or New Jersey who are the first in their family to attend dental school.
The John McNinch, DDS Memorial Scholarship Fund assists students based on financial need and/or academic achievement.
The Julia Moran Trust Fund is offered to two Kornberg senior dental students in the top 20 percent of their class who have financial need and have made significant contributions to the dental profession during their enrollment.
The Louis Herman Hardship Fund provides financial assistance to dental students who are experiencing temporary financial difficulty. Academic achievement is not considered in the funding selection process.
The Louis Strutzel & Esther Fund provides scholarships for dental students with demonstrated financial need.
The Marcus Family Fund provides scholarships for incoming freshmen based on undergraduate academic achievement and/or financial need.
The Monroe County Dental Society awards dental students in good academic standing and are residents of Monroe County, New York.
The Morris and Fannie Zucker Scholarship Fund awards scholarships to students who are in good academic standing, have financial need and are Delaware State residents.
The Nathan Edell Fund provides tuition assistance for dental school students.
The Philadelphia County Dental Society gives scholarships to second and third year dental students based on financial need and academic achievement.
The Pierre Fauchard Foundation Scholarship awards a junior dental student based on academic achievement, outstanding communication skills, integrity and financial need.
The Robert Simyar Hooman Emergency Fund provides financial assistance to students experiencing temporary financial difficulty. Academic achievement is not considered in the funding selection process.
The Temple Dental Alumni Fund awards a second year student with financial need, good character and academic achievement.
The Terry Tanaka Humanitarian Award is given to a senior dental student in recognition of exemplary volunteer service during dental school.
The Victor E. Beresin Memorial Scholarship Fund awards scholarships or grants to accredited dental school graduate(s) who are accepted into the advanced Prosthodontics program at Kornberg and intend to pursue post-graduate training with emphasis on the area of removable prosthodontics, with the objective of becoming board eligible in the specialty of Prosthodontics.
The William E. Dimeo Scholarship Fund provides assistance for dental students who have completed a FAFSA application.
The William Goldman Foundation provides scholarships for dental students with financial need who are in the top 1/3 of their class and have completed their first year of dental school.
William M. Strutzel & Carole Knopf provide scholarships for dental students with demonstrated financial need.
The William B. Dragan DDS Scholarship provides scholarships for incoming students with financial need, are the 1st member of their family to graduate from college, and have demonstrated leadership characteristics.
The York County Community Foundation Scholarship provides financial assistance to dental students in good academic standing and who are residents of York County, PA.
