Biography

James Sciote is the director of the Craniofacial Biology Research Laboratory. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina and the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He was a faculty member at the Sherrington School of Physiology, King’s College London through a Wellcome Trust, Hitchings-Elion Fellowship in Physiology. Sciote’s faculty appointments include a tenure track position in the Department of Orthodontics and Department of Biological Sciences, New York University School of Dentistry; associate professor with tenure and chair, Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine; clinical associate professor, Department of Preventive Medicine, NOVA Southeastern University, College of Osteopathic Medicine; and professor with tenure at Temple University Department of Orthodontics.
