Dental Mentor™: A tool for learning and calibration for faculty, students, and residents

Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry is providing its faculty, students, and residents with a unique learning environment based on social media platforms. The new website and applications, the Dental Mentor™, protect patient information as well the provide opportunities for users to share patient-generated clinical data for discussion, asking questions, and sharing insights. The Dental Mentor™ programs (web, iOS and Android) are our tools to achieve this goal and provide an opportunity for ongoing calibration and learning.

Faculty and residents can register to participate in dental mentoring by accessing the following registration form:

Once approved by the moderators, you will receive an email which will allow you to create a password.  Then you can access the Dental Mentor via the following site:

https://ksod.dm.temple.edu/

and submit cases or answer questions or elaborate on discussions.

 

Information shared in the Dental Mentor™ is protected by Temple University policy on confidentiality and must not be copied, photographed, printed, or shared in any medium without the written approval of Temple University.  Confidentiality of any information on patients and participants must be honored.  The Dental Mentor will be a moderated site and no information that can identify patients will be approved for publication in Dental Mentor™.
