Thank you to all faculty, students, staff, alumni, and friends who helped make our Renovation Celebration a truly special event. It was great to mark the end of our renovations with the people who helped make the transformation possible!
Over 120 alumni and friends of the dental school came out to celebrate with us this past April. Dean Ismail provided opening remarks, thanking the University, Board of Trustees, both Provost Dai, and past Provost Englert, as well as our dental students, faculty, and staff who helped navigate through the renovation process the past few years. Also thanked was Dr. Daniel Boston, Associate Dean of Clinical Affairs, and Mr. Theo DeSanto, Temple's Senior Project Manager for Facilities, both crucial members of the Temple team who were instrumental in implementing the many phases of renovation. Provost Dai also offered remarks to the audience, thanking the donors and the dean's tireless efforts to ensure that the school received the modern facilities its students and patients deserved.
Tours of the new clinics, preclinical lab, radiology suite, and pediatric, orthodontic, periodontic, and endodontic clinics were offered by students with demonstrations provided by faculty members.
