Temple ASDA Awarded at 2018 Annual Session


Students from the Temple University chapter of ASDA recently attended the 2018 Annual Session held at the Disneyland Hotel, on property at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. The Annual Session is the official meeting of ASDA’s House of Delegates, where issues are debated and policy is set. Student Feature: Sasha Sherry

We know our students have the drive to succeed in everything they do, but Sasha Sherry is a fourth year DMD student with a story to be told. Before setting her eyes on Temple, Sasha was busy perfecting her career in women’s ice hockey. During her undergrad at Princeton, she was the first female All-American for the sport. The goals have been twofold: to better align Kornberg's curriculum and clinical care delivery with the school's new mission and with the new CODA standards. And the process has been lengthy, beginning just after the last CODA site visit in March 2011.

The five-year grant awarded to Temple’s Maurice H. Seniors Give Thumbs Up to Joining ADA

100 percent of the Class of 2017 joined the American Dental Association (ADA) on the organization’s national signing day held at Temple Dental on Thursday, March 23. New graduates receive free memberships and can take advantage of all the benefits ADA offers.

Haiti Mission - From the Field

The annual Haiti Outreach sent four attending dentists and ten dental students to Haiti for one week to provide dental care to underserved children. On average, our dentists and students treat about 1,000 people throughout the week, traveling to 10 different villages and treating as many people as possible each day.
