Free Emergency and Urgent Care for Furloughed Federal Workers During the Shutdown

Emergency (pain, infection, trauma) and urgent dental care (broken fillings, discomfort due to dental problems) will be provided free of charge by Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry for furloughed Federal Employees during the Government Shutdown.

Eligible Federal employees require:

  • An official  ID confirming employment.
  • Name and address of the primary dentist for future communication and transfer of records after the Shutdown.

This service is limited to emergency and urgent dental care for the federal employee and solely during the Shutdown. Patients are expected to return to their primary dental provider thereafter. Copies of all dental records generated under this program will be made available to the patient and his/her primary dentist.

Eligible Federal Employess can book their appointment calling at 215-707-2200. Also, walk-in visits will be accepted Monday through Friday between 8:30 AM 3:00 PM.
